I've been spending a lot of time at Grainger. I like sitting at the desks with the hutch and the noisy lights on the third floor. It really separates me from everything else and lets me get work done. This particular desk I sat at last night had a lot of writing on the hutch. The first thing I noticed was that there were a lot of flags drawn. Greece, Brasil, America and a few others were represented. Each flag had some sort of insult or at least the insinuation of an insult overlaying them. Where the Greek flag original stood, "Grease sux" was written above. A big "X" was made through the American flag. There were other scribbles, many of them offensive, but not necessarily notable. One that was, to me at least, said something to the effect of "Bush is white and he's a terrorist." The only piece of graffiti that was somewhat redeeming was a very small box with only 3 symbols Y&"peace". I'm losing my faith in humanity and as a result, I'm losing faith in myself.
